PhD students, industry professionals, and academic researchers converged in an exchange of ideas, innovation, and collaboration at the second Match Making event organized by INRESCOS.
Held in connection with the “Industry meet Science - Offshore Wind Energy 2024” conference in Agder, the event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and partnership building.
The conference kicked off with 12 Ph.D. students representing the collaborating institutions of UiA, USN, and NTNU, presenting their cutting-edge research.
INRESCOS operates on the premise of utilizing the industry as a laboratory to enrich the learning experiences of Ph.D. candidates and facilitate research within real-world contexts. Through initiatives like internships and collaborative projects, the program aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering mutual benefit and knowledge exchange.
The event served as a catalyst for forging connections between academia and industry, with participants exploring opportunities for collaboration and knowledge transfer. By leveraging the expertise and resources of both sectors, INRESCOS aims to drive innovation and address real-world challenges in different technology fields.
