INRESCOS PhD candidates highlighting Research in AI, Sustainability, and Systems Engineering during Kongsberg Agenda:

19 Jun

Practical information

At this year's Kongsberg Agenda, INRESCOS unfolded over two action-packed days, each filled with cutting-edge research and innovation.

The event kicked off at the Intimscenen at Grand Hotel with a focus on artificial intelligence. Here, students from the University of Agder (UiA) and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) showcasted the transformative power of AI.

The excitement continued into the next day at the newly renovated Bergseminaret, where the focus shifted to sustainability and systems engineering – crucial themes for our planet's future.

Founded in 1757, Bergseminaret was one of Europe’s oldest institutions for higher education in mining technology. On June 19th, with an official reopening ceremony, a new chapter began for this historic building.  Kongsberg Gruppen and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) will now share the use of the building emphasizing collaboration between higher education and industry. This kind of partnership is precisely what INRESCOS strives to promote, and we were honored to hold two sessions on day 2. We are looking forward to future collaborations.
