Introductory course in presentation techniques organized by the Industrial Research School in Complex Systems at campus Vestfold

The Industrial Research School in Complex Systems organized an introductory course in presentation techniqes for its student members  at campus Vestfold on February 3rd.

This course aims to equip students with essential skills for effective communication.

The students will apply this presentation technique during "Connecting Industry & Research", the Annual event at Bergseminaret in Kongsberg on March 5th. This event is a significant platform for students to showcase their research to industry professionals and academics.

Courseholders Kristin Falk and Monica Fagerlie from USN, along with Carl André Christensen from Talerskolen, challenged the students to present their research through storytelling and images in just six and a half minutes. This innovative approach encourages students to distill their research into its most engaging and essential elements.

This course is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their presentation skills and share their scientific knowledge in a way that captivates their audience. By focusing on the core message and the most critical aspects of their research, students can create a compelling narrative that resonates with their listeners.
