During the Annual meeting in Bergen, representatives from research schools across Norway gathered to discuss and share insights on how to further develop the schools.
Espen Sandøe Karlsen and John Baarli represented the Norwegian Research Council, while. Prof. Trygve Skjold and Adm. Coordinator Merry H. Navjord represented HySchool, the host of the event.
The first day led by NFR, was filled with insightful discussions and collaborative learning. Representatives from various research schools shared their unique experiences and best practices, fostering a rich exchange of ideas. This collaborative spirit highlighted the importance of community and knowledge-sharing in advancing research and education.
Inrescos was invited to present the activities for the passed year (2024). We shared our plans and initiatives, receiving positive feedback and valuable suggestions from our colleagues.
The second day featured the annual event of the Research School Forum Admin. Here, Solfrid Torvund Langela taught us how to use LinkedIn to reach a wider audience. Ellen Hagen and Elisabeth Nesheim from UiB Ferd - Career Center for early stage Researchers) presented their innovative pilot project and how this initiative aims to support researchers in their career development, providing valuable insights and resources. Monica Fagerlie from INRESCOS delved into different techniques for effectively disseminating research to diverse audiences.
The next event will be held in Tromsø, and we look forward to continuing these important discussions and further strengthening our collaboration.
